This Great City is a 1891 Australian play by Alfred Dampier and Garnet Welch.

The play was set in Melbourne and full of Melbourne references. The Bulletin said "its local allusions kept a large, excited audience in roars of glee."

It had been written by March 1890.

Premise

A man arrives in Melbourne and gets involved in murder.
